Here’s the list of finalists for Cork Business of the Year

There was a record number of entries this year.
The finalists of the 2019 Cork Business of the Year Awards were announced today by President of Cork Business Association Philip Gillivan ahead of the President’s Dinner on February 22nd at Cork’s Vienna Woods.
Yay Cork is nominated in the Best in Digital category, joining Cork’s number one radio station Red FM and the city’s official tourism champions Visit Cork.
Nana’s, The Oliver Plunkett and The Franciscan Well are all in the running for Best VFI Pub, while Cork Art Supplies, Sheena’s Boutique and Samui Fashions make up the Best in Retail category.
A number of extra awards will also be presented on the night, including the overall Cork Business of Year and The Champion of Cork award, which was created to praise, honour and recognise a Corkonian who has made a real difference to Cork and its people.
This year’s awards night menu will be created by some of Cork’s finest chefs, who have joined forces to create a culinary feast to showcase the best of local produce.
According to the CBA, the Awards, which are run in partnership with JCD and The Irish Examiner and decided by an independent panel of judges, “recognise the outstanding contribution of businesses and individuals working diligently across varied sectors of business in Cork City and its environs”.
