It’s only available on Fridays and Saturdays.
But if you get your act together and place an order this morning, you could be among the first customers to dig into the new Cask Tapas Box this weekend.
The MacCurtain Street cocktail bar has been getting creative in the kitchen and the in-house chefs have put together a tapas dinner for two they describe as “very generous and very, very tasty”.
Each €40 box serves two people and comes complete with six Spanish-inspired dishes, crunchy bread, olives, pesto and tapenade for dipping.
Get your order in before 2pm on Friday or Saturday for pick up the same day.
So what’s on the menu?
The dishes include classic patatas bravas, monkfish croquettes served with pea salad and lime and honey aioli, lamb koftas with raita and flatbread, short rib chimichangas served with guacamole and tomato salsa and a prawn and chorizo stew.
There’s decadent portion of chocolate empanadas (deep-fried with cinnamon sugar and salted caramel mousse) for dessert too.

There’s a scrumptious vegetarian option too, packed with veggie paella and aubergine parmigiana in bravas sauce, topped with mozzarella with crunchy bread and basil pesto.
As the Cask crew say: “Not a bad Valentines Weekend option if you’d rather spend the night cuddling than stressing in the kitchen!”
Just pick up your tapas box and follow the simple directions when you’re ready to eat.
