Here’s a list of kid-friendly activities happening at LeisureWorld this summer

Brought to you by LeisureWorld.
The school year is almost over.
If you’re a parent, that means one thing: it’s time to make a summer 2019 bucket list so you don’t succumb to cabin fever within 24 hours of the final school bell.
No matter what the weather is doing, LeisureWorld Bishopstown and Churchfield are the perfect destinations for your energetic bunch of tiny humans.
Once all that excitement is expelled during an epic splash-about, there’ll be no time for temper tantrums so you’re practically guaranteed a (little) bit of peace later in the day, right?
Kids can learn to swim from just €41 – including full pool access
The summer holidays are the best time to find your confidence when it comes to swimming. At LeisureWorld, professionally trained instructors offer creative and fun teaching methods that will get your little swimmers paddling like pros in no time.
With a low child-to-teacher ratio, a fun and positive learning environment is guaranteed.
But here’s the best bit; LeisureWorld has cut its monthly direct debit charge to just €41 per child for the coming months – this not only includes your child’s swimming lessons but also gives them unlimited free access to the pool. There are no catches – your monthly direct debit can be cancelled at any time.
For more information or to book, visit the website or call 021 4346505 (Bishopstown) or 021 4397868 (Churchfield).
There’s a summer of brilliant entertainment planned
LeisureWorld Churchfield has a packed schedule of zany entertainment for kids of all ages – and Cork’s biggest indoor water slide, which is as much fun for grown-ups as it is for kiddos, trust us.
Firstly; entry is pay as you go, so everyone can join in the fun, whether you’re a LeisureWorld member or not. Your €20 Family Swim ticket admits two adults and two children or one adult and three children for one hour and kids aged under four go free.
The Giant Slide opens on the hour, every hour from 10:30am to 5:30pm.
Pool games with fun pool toys run throughout the day and the bravest big kids can also try the Water Walkerz (huge inflatable balls that allow you to literally walk on water). Other activities including Giant Crocco, Water Polo, Aqua Basketball and Pool Toys.
There’s plenty of fun for babies, toddlers and wobblers too with shallow children’s pools and mini water slides.
Attention campers…
LeisureWorld Kids Camps kick off in three locations at the start of July. This year children aged between five and 11-year-old can enjoy arts and crafts, a disco, water polo, inflatable toys in the pool and much more for five days (€120 per child, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).
There’s also a Holiday Swim School and a Rookie Lifeguard Camp – check out the details here.
