Head to this Oliver Plunkett Street café for a seriously relaxing jazz session

Thursday is one of the best nights out in town.
We may not be able to party like we used to with work looming on Friday morning, but that doesn’t mean we’re completely resigned to the couch either.
Thursdays have their own mysteries and impromptu bashes are one of life’s small joys.
Every week, a variety of cool cats from across Cork’s jazz music scene are getting together for a seriously chill jam session, where artists (and anyone who knows how to hold down a jazz tune) are welcome to hop up on stage and join in the fun.

The 115 Spot on Oliver Plunkett Street invites all players or vocalists to join the house band which starts every week in the cafe and wine bar from 9pm. And audiences have been pouring in to catch the action.
You can grab a glass of beer or wine from the counter, or if you have to get up early, opt for a coffee, a tea, or a soft drink.
The 115 Spot is located on Oliver Plunkett Street and opens until 11.30pm on Thursdays.
