It’s the last week of summer but there’s still time for a visit to this airstream café

The summer holidays might be coming to an end, but there’s still time to squeeze in one last visit to one of Cork’s much-loved Airstream cafés.
With the 2026 season coming to a close, The Field Café at Ballymaloe Cookery School has announced that it will shut up shop on Thursday.
So, if you’ve been meaning to pop by for snacks al fresco, now is very much the time.

The last lunch was served on Saturday, but the café will continue serving drinks and sweet treats during its final few days.
The team has thanked everyone who has visited throughout the summer, as well as those in and around the school for their support.
And with the season coming to an end, there’s really only one thing left to do: make the most of the final week. The café closes for the season on Thursday, August 27th at 2pm, so get yourself down there before it’s goodbye until next summer.
