Glanmire’s District 11 pub and beer garden has hit the market at €1.9m

Location, location, location.
Glanmire’s social scene is set to see a shift as popular gastropub and beer garden District 11 hits the market with a €1.9 million price tag.
The venue, known for its modern take on pub fare and spacious outdoor space, has attracted a loyal following since opening its doors more than two decades ago. The busy bar and restaurant, which opens every day, can turn over up to €40,000 a week.

The venue enjoys a high-profile location on a stand-alone site in the Crestfield Shopping Centre, which is the retail and commercial heart of Glanmire. The centre is anchored by Ryan’s SuperValu with numerous other retail and service businesses located nearby.
The premises comprise a large restaurant/bar with a large beer garden, a first-floor restaurant/function room and a busy off-license retail unit. There are two state-of-the-art kitchens as well as a separate pizza kitchen and customer parking to the front.

“The location benefits from excellent car parking and public transport access, and is the only licensed premises situated in the Crestfield/Hazelwood Shopping Centres.” says estate agent Gerard O’Callaghan of ERA Downey McCarthy, who is handling the sale.
“Glanmire’s fast-growing population now exceeds 15,000 and the location offers enormous trading potential for a new operator,” he added.
