Give your dog The Spaw treatment for charity

We all need a spruce up before Santa arrives.
But if you’ve got visitors en route for the Christmas holidays, there is one member of the family who probably needs it more than most.
Now you can book a festive tidy-up for your dog while helping to raise funds for abandoned and abused animals on Friday, December 6th 2019.
North Cork charity group HART (Homeless Animal Rescue Team) is taking over The Spaw in St Patrick’s Woolen Mills in Douglas, inviting pet owners to drop by any time between 12pm and 8pm on the day for a wash and blow dry.
The cost of your doggo’s hairdo will be donated to HART ahead of the busy Christmas season at the shelter, when volunteers will be rescuing rehabilitating and rehoming abandoned animals, each one fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped before they are adopted.
You can expect a fun festive atmosphere at The Spaw too, with hampers to be won on the day in a fundraising raffle.
