Gaeligeoirí rappers Kneecap are throwing a ‘Michael Collins Revenge’ party

They’re fresh off the festival circuit.
Kneecap are well known for their satirical melodies, delivered in a quick and witty mix of Gaelige and Bearla and are often in the news for stoking up controversy.
In 2017, their hit single ‘CEARTA’ was banned from the RTE radiowaves due to a comparison with the PSNI to the RIC contained in the lyrics. Since then, the pair have torn up venues in the UK and Ireland, selling out shows with their energetic style and uncompromising lyrics.

The Saturday night line-up includes London-born rapper and singer Jelani Blackman, Irish dance DJ Arveen Jutha, rapper Mango, and DJ Lisa OH.
Sunday night will feature Dublin artist John Francis Flynn (just off the plane after a recent tour of the UK) playing a soul-enhancing set inspired by traditional Irish and folk music followed by a foot-tapping trad and folk sesh by Cobblestone regulars Ispiní na hEireann.
