Funderland will return to Cork after two-year absence

We could all use a bit of fun.
Travelling amusement park Funderland has announced that it will make its return to Cork next month after a two-and-a-half year absence.
Long a staple of a many’s a childhood across Ireland, Funderland will be stopping at Cork first as it makes its return. Starting from October 1st, the many rides, bright lights and loud noises of Funderland will grace Cork until October 17th, according to announcement on the company’s official Facebook page.
Funderland will return to its Creamfields venue where they will open between 4pm and 10pm on weekdays, and 2pm to 10pm on weekends. Also advertised is a free and supervised car park.
A spokesperson has confirmed that Funderland will be operating according to Ireland’s Covid-19 guidelines, which are set to remain in place until October 22nd. It has been clarified that the theme park will operate in its usual “pay per ride” format.
