Foodies are snapping up seats at this Mexican-inspired dinner in a brewery

Listen, we can’t rely on the weather to bring the summer vibes.
Happily, there are plenty of exciting events happening indoors this month so even if June is a washout you can still have a fine old time.
The buzz this week has settled on a Mexican-inspired pop-up happening at Blacks Brewing & Distilling in Kinsale.
Well-known West Cork-based chef Caitlin Ruth is setting up down there for three weeks from June 11th to June 28th, serving a ‘four courses and more’ feast from a menu that will change weekly.
Much of the 12-night run is already fully booked but there are still some spots left if you get your act together ASAP.
You can take a table in The Glass Box at Blacks Brewing & Distilling, overlooking the water, and they’ll bring you plate after plate of Mexican inspired food using the ingredients of the Wild Atlantic Way. If a shard of sunshine appears you can soak it up on a deckchair outside.

Throw in a michelada, a zingy little drink made with lime juice, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce, salt and beer, and you’ve got yourself a tasty night out, whether you’re impressing a date or catching up with a friend or two.
The Caitlin Ruth X Blacks Pop-Up Restaurant runs from Wednesday to Saturday and tickets for two-hours of deliciousness are €50 here.
A drinks collab menu will also be available on the night, with vegetarian and no added gluten options also available. After your two-hour slot in the restaurant you can take the party to the bar.
