Find your voice and perform with a huge choir – all in one day

If you’ve always yearned to sing along as part of a big stage production, this is your chance.
Now, in just one day, you can learn all you need to join the choir and belt out one of the most popular and glorious choral works of all time; Handel’s Messiah, Part II.
The best bit? No auditions are necessary.
As part of a collaboration between the Cork International Choral Festival and St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral, The Big Sing at the Cathedral is returning this year for a very special day of rehearsal and performance on Saturday, February 16th.
The day will be led by Saint Fin Barre’s Cathedral Director of Music and choral specialist, Peter Stobart and everyone is welcome to take part.
It’s all very simple; you can download a copy of the score here.
Participants pay an €18 administration fee and the day of rehearsals begins at 1.30pm, with a performance in front of a live audience at 6.30pm.
Ready to sign up? Check out the website here. You can also go along to watch the performance free of charge.
Better start warming up those vocal chords in the shower…
