Finding it tricky to get back to normal?
If the pandemic has left you feeling unmoored and you’re struggling to find your groove again, this might be just what the doctor ordered.
Now you can join an open Shamanic Journeying group on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm in The Yard Aghafore, a repurposed farmyard near Timoleague.
The sessions are led by John Fleming, a professionally qualified and registered counsellor, holistic therapist, shaman and coach. John’s vision is all about creating safe spaces for people to explore themselves intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.
“Shamanic journeying is a technique that is learned and mastered while being experienced and practiced,” says John.
“By allowing a person to symbolically journey, they will hear and feel various things. A shaman guides you through your first journey, and then you are free to take the reins of each subsequent flight.”

John also facilitates a Shamanic Drumming group monthly on the last Tuesday of every month as well as a weekly Osho Dynamic Meditation group.
“Osho Dynamic Meditation is a 60-minute active meditation technique of five stages, the first of which is fast, deep and chaotic breathing for 10 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of catharsis, 10 minutes of jumping and shouting a mantra “hoo”, 15 minutes of silence, and finally 15 minutes of celebration through dance.”
