Fancy an early Christmas swim? Join the Santa Splash at Fountainstown this Sunday

Looking for a way to get into the festive spirit this weekend?
Then grab your togs, rally your friends, and head down to Fountainstown Beach at 10am on Sunday, December 22nd, 2024, for a special festive swim with a purpose.
The Santa Splash is not just about a refreshing dip in the sea – it’s about supporting Cormac Hogan, a 16-year-old Transition Year student from Rochestown College, who will be traveling to Kolkata, India in 2025 as part of The Hope Foundation’s School Immersion Programme.
What’s it all about?
Cormac will be heading to Kolkata next year to engage in important educational and community development projects through The Hope Foundation, which works tirelessly to provide education, healthcare, and life skills training to underprivileged children.
By joining the swim or making a donation, you’ll be helping Cormac fund his journey, enabling him to participate in this life-changing initiative.
He’s hoping to raise €2,500 to fund the trip and supporters have already raised over €2,000.
Whether you’re brave enough to take the plunge or prefer to cheer from the sidelines with a hot drink in hand, your support is what counts.
Every little bit helps, and all donations go directly towards Cormac’s trip and the incredible work of The Hope Foundation. You can donate through his iDonate page.
