Led by head chef and owner, Brian Murray, The Glass Curtain restaurant on MacCurtain Street is hosting a once-off dining and cocktail experience with the San Franciscan team from restaurant, Osito.
The one-star Michelin restaurant, San Francisco’s only 100 percent live fire, fine-dining eatery, is coming to this side of the Atlantic for the first time to visit Cork and host a three-day collaborative pop-up at The Glass Curtain as part of its Swiss Roll Sessions.
The team will welcome Osito’s head chef, Seth Stowaway and his co-chef and partner, Matt Hanley, as well as Osito’s leading beverage directors, Uzziel Pulido and Grace Ackerman from October 19th to 21st.
Oisin Wolfe, The Glass Curtain’s newly appointed leading mixologist and World Class Ireland 2023 finalist will be creating a bespoke cocktail menu in collaboration with Osito featuring luxury spirit brands such as Ketel One vodka, Roe & Co Irish Whiskey, and Don Julio tequila.
One hero cocktail on the menu is a Ketel One vodka with leftover corn husks from local farm Gort na Nain, lightly acidified with waste apple cores and bottoms saved from the restaurant’s dessert development.
Guests can expect an innovative and delicious five-course tasting menu with 11 servings featuring seasonal Cork produce mixed with the creativity of The Glass Curtain and Osito teams.
Reservations can be made through The Glass Curtain website at €120 per person.
