Exactly when temperatures will start to plummet this week, according to Met Éireann

It’s been relatively mild so far.
But Met Éireann has pinpointed the beginning of chillier weather in Cork this week, with temperatures starting to plummet on Wednesday night.
While Wednesday will be a largely dry day with sunny spells, isolated showers and highest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees, you might be needing the hot water bottle after dark.
“It will be colder than recent nights, with lows of 3 to 7 degrees, in a light to moderate northerly wind.” said a forecaster.
Thursday will be mostly dry with sunny spells but cool overall, with temperatures reaching between 8 and 11 degrees.

Thursday night will be cold too with temperatures dropping again to between 1 and 5 degrees in a light westerly breeze.
The downward trend continued on Friday, with another cold night in store, largely dry with lowest temperatures of 1 to 6 degrees, coldest in the south.
We might even get some frost.
