Enjoy a day of coffee, Yoga and ice cream at Hope for Gaza this July

Mark it in the calendar.
A selection of Cork businesses are joining forces to host a special event in aid of The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
Diane Macilwraith will be hosting an afternoon of yoga before a craft knitting class with Night Knitter, all served up with great coffee from Stone Valley Roasters and ice cream from Coolmore Farmhouse.
The event will run from 2pm until 4.30pm in the beautiful setting of Coolmore Farm in Carrigaline on July 12th.
“I think we can all agree it’s causing Irish people a lot of pain to watch in real time what happened on this island not so long ago.” one of the organisers, Rebecca Newenham, from Coolmore Bees in Carrigaline, told us.
“An event that not only shaped our history but also shaped us as people. It would be unnatural for us to stand by and do nothing. So I’d like to invite the people of Cork to join us and share a space. A place to sit and grieve for the people of Palestine, while spending time together as a community and contributing to an incredible cause.
“We have gathered volunteers to hold a yoga session, a coffee stand, and even a knitting class. Additionally, we have raffle items donated by businesses around Cork which will also be available for people who can’t attend.”
Raffle prizes include a Koko Kinsale hamper and vouchers from The Ink Collective, The Black Poppy, The Woodford Bar and The Old Mill Stores. You can donate to enter the raffle here.
