All the best walks finish with cake.
And very soon you’ll be able to replace all those calories you burned pounding the pavements at Cork’s beautiful Marina with the best of French coffee, patisserie, and baked goodies.
Cameron Bakery is almost ready to open its third cafe at No. 31 Pier House in Blackrock village, where refurbishment works have been underway since early spring.
Word has it that the waterside café will open its doors early next week.

Visitors can expect a range of freshly baked French bread, baguettes, sandwiches, pastries, croissants, pain au chocolat, éclair, and Cameron’s new madeleines, which are extra big and stuffed with Nutella.
If you’re in the market for a new job, they’re also hiring staff for the city stores and the new location:
“We are looking for friendly faces to fill a number of front-of-house positions in our shop on Parnell Place and in our new location in Blackrock which will be opening very soon!” the bakery owners said on Instagram.
“Part-time and full-time positions available, barista experience is a bonus but not essential.”
