Don your birthday suit for a Naked Sunrise Swim on Good Friday

When was the last time you were at one with nature?
This Good Friday, April 15th, there’s a unique opportunity to “shed your clothes and liberate your soul” on an East Cork beach… and it’s all for an excellent cause.
A brave group of free spirits will meet on Ballybrannigan Beach, located between Ballycotton and Roches Point, at 7am for a sunrise nude dip in the ocean followed by a yoga session on the sand.
“Gather with your sisters as we celebrate our beautiful bodies, our scars, rolls, strength, and softness.” reads the invitation.
“After the dip, Niamh’s Larder will serve up warm porridge and hot drinks as we gather ’round a fire and warm up and feed our bellies.
“All donations will go towards Women’s Aid and Men’s Aid to continue the great work they do in bringing equality to all.”
The yoga practice will be guided by Jeanie Jyanti and promises to “bring some heat to the muscles”, soothe the mind and bring peace to tired limbs.
