Ditch the desk and dive head first into the Imperial Hotel’s new Escape Spa deals

By Yay Cork June 5, 2024June 4, 2024

Brought to you by The Imperial Hotel.

Listen up, spa bunnies.

Feeling like a hamster on a wheel, going nowhere fast? Yeah, us too. Let’s be honest, sometimes escape is exactly what our tired bodies and frazzled minds crave.

But if you can’t swing a week in the sun just yet, The Imperial Hotel’s lush Escape Spa has everything you need to decompress, right in the middle of the city.

The South Mall’s grande dame has just launched two epic new spa packages for the summer months. Here are the deets:

The Great Escape

This little slice of heaven starts with a full-body brush exfoliation. Next up, your weary tootsies get the royal treatment with a foot scrub and massage – just in time for flip-flop season.

Now, because relaxation is key, they’ll slather you in Elemis hydration lotion and work their magic with wave lomi lomi movements to wash away all your stress. Sounds dreamy, right?

But wait, there’s more! To truly customise your experience, an Elemis skin expert will whip up a personalised facial just for your gorgeous mug. Think of it as a bespoke party for your pores. And to top it all off, a tension-relieving scalp massage will leave you feeling like a stress-free marshmallow.

Bonus Round: This little slice of paradise also includes a hydrotherapy and steam room session. Plus, you’ll get to sip on seasonal refreshments in their Starlit Relaxation Room. Sounds like something straight out of a Gwyneth Paltrow wellness retreat, but without the pretentious price tag; this whole luxurious shebang clocks in at a cool €185 during the week and €195 on weekends.

Summer Retreat & Relax

This decadent little treat starts with a hot stone back, neck, and shoulder massage. Picture warm, smooth stones gliding over your tired muscles, melting away all the knots and worries you’ve been carrying around.

Next, an expert will whip up a personalised Elemis treatment to address your skin’s unique needs, followed by a sumptuous scalp massage for good measure.

This package also includes a hydrotherapy and steam room session to fully detox and unwind.

After you’re refuelled with seasonal refreshments in the Starlit Relaxation Room, you can head off for a complimentary lunch to complete your day of pure indulgence.

All this pampering comes in at a very reasonable €160 during the week and €170 on weekends.

Ditch the stress, embrace the summer, and book your escape today at imperialhotelcork.com.
