DesignPOP tickets are now live, with some top-notch pop-ups, talks, and chats planned

Got anything interesting planned for September?
One of Cork’s most exciting festivals is turning back-to-school time into an immersive, vibrant weekend in Cork, where architecture and design will take centre stage from September 1st to 3rd, 2023.
From innovative installations to thought-provoking exhibitions, Design POP promises to “ignite your imagination and inspire new perspectives” with panel discussions and talks from the industry’s finest architects and designers, hitting on topics including women in creative industries, urban regeneration, and Irish furniture design.
A variety of ticket types will be available this year, from an €80 weekend pass that gains you access to all the events over the weekend to individual day passes and individual €10 tickets for each of the main events.
“The themes this year are to reflect on the current situation our urban areas are in while engaging the Creative Community for potential solutions,” says festival founder, Monkstown native Amy McKeogh.

“The Design POP team and I feel the festival is a great platform to have these meaningful conversations and discussions around these themes.
“Along with the pavilions, we are excited to share the line-up of guest speakers, panel discussions, pavilions, and different events happening around the city over the weekend.”
Foodie highlights will include the Guzzle X Design POP Panel Discussion (Friday, September 9th Fri 01.09) with Jane Gleeson, Brian’s Wines and Tobey from Toonsbridge, and From Concept to Michelin – The Story of Terre, a panel discussion that will take place in the Lecture Hall in Nano Nagle Place (Sunday, September 3rd at 1:30pm).
