Delicious Views: Ireland’s dreamiest pizzeria reopens for summer in Cork

Great news for Cork’s pizza aficionados.
Chef Paolo Chiappa is back from Italy, and with him, the highly anticipated return of Boatshed Pizza at Dunmore House Hotel.
Nestled against the breathtaking backdrop of Clonakilty Bay, the hotel’s glorious Sea Terrace is now serving up fresh, piping hot slices from its state-of-the-art pizza oven.

Helmed by Chef Chiappa, whose secret recipe dough and tomato sauce are the stuff of local legend, this is your chance to enjoy some of the most delicious pizza in Ireland, paired with undoubtedly the most jaw-dropping coastal views.
What’s on the menu?
Using vegetables and herbs from the organic Ocean Garden at Dunmore House, Paolo adds firm favourites like Toonsbridge mozzarella, O’Neil’s black pudding, Gubbeen cheese and Cashel Blue to his short and sweet Boatshed Pizza menu.

The classic Margherita is generously topped with Toonsbridge mozzarella and fresh basil, the Vegetarian has oodles of veggies including grilled aubergine, courgette, cherry tomato and garden rocket while the Hot will get taste buds tingling with Toonsbridge mozzarella, Gubbeen pepperoni salami, roast peppers, fresh chilli and Cashel Blue cheese.
There’s a cracking wine list and house cocktails to try too.
Boatshed Pizza is open from 1pm – 7.30pm, closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays and is located on the Sea Terrace at Dunmore House, Clonakilty.
