Cork’s original BBQ joint just opened a tasty deli (and the sandwiches are outrageous)

Their MacCurtain Street spot is barbecue bliss.
And now White Rabbit has another outpost across the bridge – White Rabbit Deli & Foodstore is now open on Princes Street.
There’s coffee by local roastery Lab 82, slabs of homemade brownie, thick cookies, and enormous deli-style sandwiches.

Takeaway treats include a variety of delicious house sauces to jazz up your midweek meals at home and goodies to keep in the fridge, such as White Rabbit Cold Smoked Butter, Naked Bakes Vegan Cookie Dough, available in four flavours (try the salted double chocolate chip).
The wraps and sandwiches are especially delicious, all made using White Rabbit’s own range of bottled sauces.
There’s an applewood-smoked chicken and bacon with crisp iceberg lettuce, baby plum tomatoes, and Carolina-style mayo on Syrian flatbread that’s out of this world, but true barbecue fans won’t be able to resist the eight-hour slow-smoked pulled pork, red slaw, house pickles and Kansas City style BBQ Sauce.
They’ll be adding more artisan products to the shelves in the coming weeks too so keep an eye on their Instagram feed for updates.
