Cork’s most outrageous village bakery has unveiled a mouthwatering Easter special

A day trip to Kanturk has never looked more attractive.
When the 5km travel restrictions are eventually lifted (god knows when) we’ll be hot-footing it to the north-west Cork town where Petra Kriva, the owner and head chef at Yumm Café, has come up with a glorious Easter treat for her customers.
Hold onto your waistbands; Petra has unveiled a limited edition version of her famous Chimney Cake, a Hungarian treat that has been delighting dessert fans since the 1700s.

Lucky locals can swing by Percival Street for a baked dough ‘chimney’ coated in cinnamon sugar, roasted nuts or sugar, filled with ice cream and topped with a dollop of fresh cream, oozing caramel eggs and Rolos.
The Easter Chimney Cake is available all week and you can also try their Easter Egg Hot Chocolate in Kinder, Mint Aero, Milky Bar, Biscoff and Terry’s Chocolate Orange flavours.
