Cork’s first Sauna Village opens in town this weekend with free sessions all day

Cork’s first Sauna Village is opening this weekend at the old Carey Tools site in Ballintemple.
The latest venture by the team behind The Hot Box, which boasts six novel sauna and cold plunge spots in Dublin, Meath, Louth, Kilkenny and Sligo, The Hot Box Cork will boast five saunas, four plunge pools of varying temperatures and the company’s first ever hot showers on site.
“Four years ago, The Hot Box was just us three lads and a horse box trailer.” the Hot Box crew shared on Instagram.
“Now (somehow) we’re opening our second sauna village in Ireland. And this one’s special.”

The grand opening this weekend will be celebrated with free sauna sessions all day on December 20th and 21st, allowing locals to check out the facilities.
Bookings (over 18s only) are now live on the website. Bring water and suitable footwear.
