Cork’s first-ever candy floss shop is opening soon… and it’s an entirely robot-run affair.

Flossco the Cotton Candy Robot will be spinning up pastel-coloured treats at the Marina Market’s Santa Village in Ballintemple before the end of November.

Customers can visit the colourful machine, choose their preferred shape from a whopping 35 different options and watch the magic unfold.

In less than two minutes, your blue, raspberry, orange, vanilla, or lime-flavoured creation will appear – all for €6 a pop.

“Imagine a world where Candy Floss isn’t just a swirl of sugar but an artistic masterpiece,” they told us.

“Flossco, with its advanced automated Candy Floss machine, makes this dream a reality.”
