Corkmas Parade set to draw 40,000 festive visitors to Cork City this year

There’s only 73 sleeps ’til Christmas.
And preparations are being made to get the festive season underway on Friday, November 14th this year with the return of the Corkmas Christmas parade.
The parade will run from 7pm to 8pm on the night, marking the beginning of the most wonderful time of the year on Leeside with music, dance, light and sparkle with a very special visit from Santa Claus.
The parade will begin its journey on North Main Street before proceeding along Washington Street, and continuing through Patrick Street and Bridge Street before finally making its way to MacCurtain Street.

The city council expects this vibrant celebration to draw an estimated crowd of around 40,000 spectators, who will line the streets to enjoy the festivities, performances, and lively atmosphere throughout the route.
The much-loved Ferris wheel and vintage carousel will also be back on the Grand Parade this year, with dates to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
