Cork Weather: Dry with hazy sunshine for the next 24 hours (before the rain returns)

Oh, the novelty of leaving the house without a jumper.
It’s no heatwave but you can at least expect more mostly dry weather with some hazy sunshine across Cork for the rest of the day today, together with pleasantly spring-like temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees.
According to Met Éireann, it will be largely dry and cloudy on Wednesday too, with a few sunny spells once again hitting the 14C-17C mark.
Unfortunately, things are looking more unsettled for the rest of the week.
Wednesday night will be dry in many areas overnight though cloud with patches of rain and drizzle will continue to build from the south with more persistent rain in the southwest towards morning and lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees.
Thursday will begin with some limited bright spells in the morning “but overall a cloudy day with outbreaks of rain in the southwest extending to all areas through the morning and afternoon, heavy at times with the chance of isolated thunderstorms.” said a forecaster.
It’ll be a cooler day than of late with highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees generally, slightly milder in parts of the southwest.
After a dull and damp start to the day with outbreaks of rain on Friday, conditions will warm up once again, with highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees, possibly reaching 19 degrees.
Best not put away the raincoat just yet.
