Cork people have been ordering some really weird pizza toppings

If you got heated during the pineapple-on-a-pizza debate, this will send you over the edge.
Deliveroo has revealed some of the weirdest pizza toppings ordered by their customers across Ireland… with an especially odd creation hitting the oven in Cork.
According to the takeaway delivery company, one devout roast dinner lover in Cork City asked that the restaurant skip the usual selection of toppings.
Instead? He demanded they decorate his pizza with a generous spread of roast chicken and carrots. His Mammy would be so proud.
Cork’s most popular pizza
A Stephen’s Green customer requested that her pizza base be slathered in ketchup instead of the usual tomato sauce, while another customer in Tallaght asked for ‘plenty of salt and vinegar’ on his pie.
As far as flavour combinations go, we fully support the Ballsbridge customer who requested a chocolate dessert pizza topped with chilli flakes.
Definitely putting that one to the test this weekend.
Deliveroo say their most popular pizza order in Cork is the ‘Frida’ from Tom Barry’s on Barrack Street – a blend of mozzarella, parma ham, cherry tomatoes and parmesan shavings.
