Cork is getting its first DOG CAFE and it’s the cutest thing we’ve ever seen

This is the meet-up spot Cork’s dog lovers have been dreaming of.
Many forward-thinking Cork businesses have made a brilliant effort to be more pet-friendly, but now your darling doggo is about to be welcomed with open paws (and a bowl of fresh water) at Cork’s first dog café.
And it’s beyond adorable…
Bark and Bumble opens next month on Langford Row (opposite St John’s College and near the South Infirmary Hospital), offering people and their puppers a chance to kick back and enjoy life with their best friend in tow.
You may recognise Bark & Bumble from their gorgeous market stall at The Fair Alternative Market at Cork’s Unitarian Church.
They make a selection of handmade Doggy Digestive and Bacon Buddies dog biscuits; natural goat’s milk dog shampoo bars and collar charms to bling out your pooch.
Now you can stock up on all the natural goodies your heart desires, while catching up with your mates and other Cork dog lovers, in a custom cafe complete with a doggie ball pit!
A vintage coffee machine will serve up hot drinks by Three Fools Coffee.
There’s special treats for your furry friends too, ‘Happy Barkday’ cakes for dogs will be available to order in-store (they come complete with portrait cake toppers, natch) and health products such as turmeric Golden Paste (an antioxidant boost for dogs) will also be available.
You’ll even be able to buy doggie gifts and accessories while you enjoy your cuppa; a line of dog-themed greeting cards will be available in-store for special occasions and you can stock up on themed stationery too.
We’re counting down the days until August 1st, but in the meantime, follow Bark & Bumble on Facebook here for updates and sign up to their newsletter for scheduled opening dates.
