Cork is getting another long-table dinner, this time on Pembroke Street

Can’t make the VQ long-table dining experience?
Good news – there’s another chance to pull up a seat at one of the city’s most talked-about food events of the year.
Cork on a Fork Fest, Cork City Council’s annual celebration of the city’s food scene, has announced a host of new events for this August, including a brand-new long-table dining experience, a TV chef collaboration, the reopening of a historic city venue and live-fire cooking demonstrations at Elizabeth Fort.
Leading the latest announcements is The Pembroke Street Table, giving food lovers another opportunity to experience the magic of dining outdoors with a crowd of fellow foodies.
Taking place on Sunday, August 16th, the middle of Pembroke Street will be transformed into a shared dining space, with 100 guests sitting down together for a three-course lunch celebrating some of Cork’s best restaurants.
The menu will feature dishes from Helena’s at The Imperial, Orso Kitchen, Arthur Mayne’s, The Old Town Taqueria Café and The Bookshelf, alongside live music and drinks for a proper Cork summer afternoon.
The event is being delivered in partnership with the Cork Business Association and Madri, and follows the success of the VQ Shared Table on MacCurtain Street, which proved just how much Cork diners love the chance to eat, chat and celebrate together al fresco.
Tickets are €90.81 now over here.
