One-way flights to New York, anyone?

As much as we love life here in Cork (we literally talk about it all the time!), we also love exploring the world through our Instagram feed.

Every corner of the globe is available to us at the touch of a button and we have to admit, sometimes we daydream about what life might be like with a different postcode.

But thanks to some homegrown talent, it’s not too hard to picture it.

Yes, there’s a list of Cork ladies who are living their best lives around the globe and they’ve quickly become some of our faves to follow online because of it.

Here are five gals who might tempt you to book that one-way flight.

1. Tar Mar @tarmarz

Fashion graduate Tara has been living in New York for just over three years.

The content creator and digital influencer has slowly grown her following on both YouTube and Instagram thanks to her high quality content and honest approach to sharing her life online.

Currently living in Brooklyn, followers are treated to regular snaps of her killer style as well as the gorgeous home she shares with her boyfriend.

2. Lauren Arthurs @lovelauren.eu

Long-time blogger Lauren Arthurs relocated to The Netherlands last year and now calls Haarlem – a city just outside Amsterdam – home.

After visiting multiple times, she and her boyfriend John decided it was time for a permanent change of scenery to the city they’d grown to love.

Lauren also says it’s the perfect launchpad for the rest of her international travels, which she also shares with her followers on Instagram.

3. Laura De Barra @lauradebarra

Laura De Barra is the breath of fresh air everyone’s Instagram feed needs.

The Cork native works as a property portfolio designer in London and is the only person we follow who can fix a dishwasher in YSL earrings and a red lippie.

If that’s not reason enough to give her a follow, her gas, no BS personality should be.

4. Ruthy Ruby @ruthyruby 

Ruthy Ruby packed up and moved to New York City last year and has been sharing her experiences of starting a new life stateside online ever since.

She talks about fashion and beauty, and could easily be mistaken for a character from the teen drama Felicity thanks to her killer 90s style.

She’s also a gas bish, so there’s that too.

5. Steph My Life @stephmylife

For the last three years or so, Steph has been exploring the globe alongside her husband Tim and proudly boasts that she’s been to 26 countries in 36 months.

With that kind of travel history comes a lengthy feed of stunning imagery that is sure to give you the bug.

She’s just landed down in Seville and already we’re glued to see what she gets up to.
