Don’t miss this.
When Trisha Lewis set out to lose 100lbs last year, she wasn’t expecting to gain more than 17,000 followers in the process.
Now she’s about to amass a whole new bunch of fans when she’s interviewed by Ryan Tubridy on tonight’s Late Late Show.
Sharing her weight loss journey on her Instagram feed Trishas Transformation, the 30-year-old head chef at Jacobs on the Mall has already lost an incredibly 96lbs – that’s seven stone. And she plans to lose the same again in the coming year.
Her secret? A smart meal plan and hard work.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Trisha pointed out what a difference 12 months can make: “I was 26 stone and facing another year of complete loneliness and misery. I was in the depths of depression. Today I sit on this train on the single most biggest adventure of my life and I’m 7 stone down.
‘I didn’t give up. I fought back. I’m winning. I’m so bloody proud of me!!!! Dublin are you READY! Trisha Lewis is on the way!’
Trisha bravely brought her fans into the gym with her to witness her gruelling workouts with the team at Dennehy’s and Exceed Fitness.
The result? Many of them found the courage to follow her lead.
Now, as a brand rep for the fitness wear brand Peachy Lean, Trisha, who is originally from Limerick, continues to share her workouts (and her honest feelings about them) in her feed, alongside brilliant recipes for her favourite healthy dishes and live tutorials in her Instagram Stories.
Catch Trisha on The Late Late Show tonight, Friday, January 18th on RTÉ One at 9.35pm.
