Badger & Dodo Coffee Roasters in Cork have announced the first item in their new Premium Coffee Series, and the flavours are, shall we say, unexpected.

“PREMIUM COFFEE ALERT! We are proud to announce the first coffee in our Premium Coffee Series that each come in a collector tin. The first coffee we are featuring is a Natural Colombian called La Estrella! Mushroom, Malt, Bordeaux, and Cedar.”

Robert of Badger & Dodo shared a video to Twitter announcing the new product, which comes in a tin that contains seven brews. Robert himself refers to the coffee as “very unusual.” La Estrella is for sale now both at the café on Barrack Street, an also online. Tins sell for the price of €11.25, but you can also get a 250g bag for €19.50.

The coffee is a 90/100 coffee, which means it has been given the grade of ‘Outstanding’ by a Certified Coffee Taster.
