Comedy star Katherine Ryan is back in Cork for a family christening at Mayfield church

She’s famously proud of her Cork roots.
And today, comedy superstar Katherine Ryan, her husband Bobby Koostra and their children made another visit to Cork’s Northside to celebrate their daughter Fenna Grace’s christening.
Ryan, whose dad was born in Cork, chose the ceremony setting of St Joseph’s in Mayfield as a lovely nod to her Leeside connections for the second time.

Her father, Finbarr, left Cork for Canada in the Seventies, where Ryan and her two sisters were born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario. The comedian also chose the location for the christening of the couple’s son Fred two years ago.
Sharing some family photos of the special day, attended by family including Katherine’s eldest daughter Violet, with her one million Instagram fans, the stand-up star, actor, writer, and TV presenter posted ‘God bless Fenna Grace’.
The family, who live in London, looked stylish in shades of cream and sage green, with little Fenna Grace wearing an emerald green cape for a group photo on the steps of the church.
