Catch THE most iconic superhero movie in a special Cork cinema

Is it a bird? Is it a plane?
Nope, it’s an opportunity to catch a screening of one of the most iconic superhero movies ever in a magical Cork location.
Triskel is showing Superman – The Movie, starring a then-unknown Christopher Reeve, from Easter Sunday.
“We all know the story of Superman, his origins, the suit, how no one figured out the connection with him and Clark Kent,” said Chris O’Neill, Head of Cinema at Triskel.
“Superhero movies are very popular today but this is the original and as such, we’re delighted to bring it back to the big screen.”
The film was released in December 1978 and up to that point, was the most expensive film made with a budget of $55 million.
Superman – The Movie is showing at Triskel from April 9th to 12th, 2023 with two screenings each day from Monday to Wednesday.
Later in April, you can watch the classic Raging Bull as well as Ann, about teenager Ann Lovett who died while giving birth in a grotto in 1984.
