BYO coffee cup: Cork’s zero waste market is now a monthly shindig

If excess food packaging drives you nuts, this will be a satisfying sight.
A Cork city market is encouraging visitors to bring their own cups, cutlery, tupperware and napkins to use while enjoying the food stalls at their new monthly event.
The Positively Eventful Market returns to Kino, Washington Street on Sunday, June 24th, with a selection of vegan and veggie fare on offer.
Expect good music, lashings of great coffee, cute local crafts and sustainable products.
Beanbag seating will be provided so visitors can kick back and soak up the atmosphere while sipping a vegan creamy latte.
Bring a reusable or recycled bag to stock up on supplies and grab lunch (ours is a jackfruit taco) at The Fat Vegan.
Seriously; never has the healthy option been so darn delicious…
Hit up Healthy Made Delicious for dessert (their Hazelnut Cream is to die for).
Aroma Bliss will be on hand with everything you need for glowing skin (everything’s plant-based, natch) and the Little Green Leaf will be selling their vegan cheese throughout the afternoon.
The market runs from 11am to 4pm so it’s the perfect excuse to grab a lunchtime bite.
Overall it’s a festival of cruelty-free fun and an ace way to spend a chill Sunday.
