If you like nothing more than to sink your teeth into a juicy burger at the end of a long week, pop this meat-eaters Mecca on your list for the bank holiday weekend, pronto.
The Son of a Bun crew have been holed up in their MacCurtain Street kitchen, gleefully putting the finishing touches on The Loaded burger, their burger of the month for April, and it’s one of their biggest yet.
The Loaded involves two 3oz beef patties, each one topped with oozing American cheese and piled high with French fries. The whole lot is smothered in cheese fondue, then sprinkled with jalapeños, spring onion and bacon.

A dollop of aioli on the brioche bun and you’ve got yourself one of the most decadent burgers in town.
All that’s left to do is find a way to get your chops around it without spilling the contents down your top.
