Buy a Box of Blessings at this pop-up art shop on Douglas Street

Handwritten notes make people feel good.
While most of our correspondence is on-screen these days, there’s something about a scribbled message that just seems more… special.
That’s why contemporary artist Cora Murphy has created a little box of notecards you can use to convey any message, from a simple ‘I’m thinking of you’ to a ‘good luck’ or a thank you.
Thoughtfully called ‘A Box of Blessings’, each art card gift set (from €20) includes ten cards featuring Cora’s stunning work and an envelope to send it in.
Cora will open the doors of her new home and studio space in the heart of Cork City this weekend for a Pop-Up Shop running from 11am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

If you’re looking for something more substantial, she’s also offering 20 percent off all her Limited Edition Prints too.
After many years of struggling to find a home and workspace in the city, Cora bought the property at 42 Douglas Street earlier this year but there is much work to be done in the New Year.
“All sales are massively appreciated as all proceeds will go towards the restoration of the building,” Cora told us.
