Buy a body lotion and help save the bees at this Lush Charity Pot event

Ready for a body lotion re-up?
Replace your everyday moisturiser with the Charity Pot from Lush Cork and you’ll be helping to save the bees as well as the dry bits on your bod’.
The Oliver Plunkett Street store is planning a fundraiser for the Irish Bee Conservation Project (IBCP) across the weekend of March 11th and 12th.
Charity Pot is a special hand and body lotion, launched in 2007 to raise funds for small grassroots charities, campaigns, and not-for-profit groups working in the areas of animal protection, human rights, and the environment.
A gorgeous blend of shea butter, ylang ylang, and cocoa, one hundred percent of the sales from the brand’s Charity Pot body lotion (minus tax) in Cork will be donated directly to the IBCP.
“We are also planning on hosting these Charity Pot events on a regular basis going forward.” Méabh Hurley of Lush Cork told us.
“The Irish Bee Conservation Project is a charitable organisation in Ireland that seeks to conserve all native Irish bee species. It has four “pillars of support” in its work: providing habitats, increasing biodiversity, holding education events, and performing research into the decline of bee species.”
