Led by Community Engagement Officer Robbie Carroll, participants will explore Cork City’s urban wild space to uncover the fascinating world of pollinating insects. From bees and butterflies to hoverflies and more, this interactive walk will reveal the essential roles these tiny creatures play in nature and in sustaining our food systems.
“You will discover how urban habitats such as Tramore Valley Park support biodiversity, understand why pollinators matter and what you can do to help. All equipment and resources will be provided; you only need to bring your curiosity!” say the organisers.
