Browse books and cakes for a great cause at Goods for Gaza in Cobh

Save the date and mark your calendars now.
On Sunday, November 9th, the Cobh Community Centre will be buzzing with the smell of freshly baked cakes, the rustle of well-loved books, and the sound of friendly chatter — all for a great cause.
The Cobh Palestine Solidarity Campaign is hosting Goods for Gaza, a bake/book/goods sale and raffle in aid of Cork – North Gaza, a fundraiser set up by Cork-based Palestinian Mohammed Nasser to supply clean drinking water, food and basic financial assistance to families battling to survive the genocide in Gaza.
It’s all happening from 1.30pm to 4.30pm so make sure to get there early to nab some of the delicious bakes (and maybe a few literary gems) from Cork chef Lilly Higgins and pals.

“If you’d like to donate a cake (whole bakes, please!) or some books, we’d love to hear from you — every little bit helps and adds to the heart of the day.” the organisers said.
