BrewDog will open its first bar in Cork City this summer

Here’s some good news for beer aficionados.
Scottish craft brewer BrewDog will open its first bar in Cork City this summer in partnership with Westside Leisure Ltd., a well-established local operator.
Located on Washington Street at the former Grand Central Social site, the new bar will operate across three floors, offering 26 taps of both BrewDog and local craft beers along with their signature menu of burgers, wings, salads, and epic vegan options.
With over 100 bars across the globe, export into 60 countries, and breweries in Columbus Ohio, Berlin Germany and Brisbane Australia, BrewDog says its mission is to “continues to take the craft beer revolution to the people, whilst continuing to push the boundaries, invest in staff, put the beer first, and champion other small breweries in its venues.”
Co-founders James Watt and Martin Dickie shook up the business world in 2010 with the launch of the pioneering crowdfunding initiative Equity for Punks. To date it has raised over £26m towards sustainable initiatives and welcomed nearly 60,000 new punk shareholders to the ranks of 180,000 worldwide.
