Bia Beirut is *the* stall to hit for all your snacky, dippy requirements

The best hosts have the best snacks.
And if you’re planning on having people over soon, you. might be considering where to find such goodies.
Here’s a tip: Cork couple, Beirut baker Rabih Farah and Pamela Crowley-Farah make artisan Lebanese sourdough bread, snaps, and dips that Cork foodies rave about.

Popping up weekly at the Thursday Mahon Point Farmer’s Market in Mahon Point Shopping Centre and every Saturday at the Douglas Market outside the Douglas Village Shopping Centre, the pair have a tantalising stall where you can choose a little or a lot of each item for lunch, a get-together, a picnic, or just a snacky no-stress dinner on the sofa.
If you’re lucky they’ll have a stack of Wara Enab, a classic Lebanese dish of tangy grape leaves stuffed with various fillings.

Grab yourself a Teta Banadura sandwich and a bag of freshly baked Sourdough Snaps (available in a selection of tasty flavours) for dunking, then collect a variety of outrageously good authentic dips, including spicy yogurt, hummus, labneh, a little box of makdous, baby eggplants that are stuffed with walnuts, garlic, and red pepper, then preserved in olive oil, and some cheese.
Oh and whatever specials are available on the day. Try those too.
All you need to do is lay it all out on the table and enjoy all the praise for being the best party host ever.
Bia Beirut also offer event catering so drop them a mail (biabeirut@gmail.com) to chat about your requirements.
