Lost another shoe to your resident chew monster?

If your newly adopted puppy is reaching the ‘causing mayhem’ stage at home, a Cork dog expert will be on hand to offer some handy training tips online later this month.

Certified dog trainer and Munster Puppy Raising Supervisor at Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, Rosemary O’Keeffe is hosting a one-hour PAWsome Puppy Webinar for beginners on Wednesday, October 21st at 6pm to help you understand your new arrival.

The best bit? Your €10 donation goes to the Guide Dogs, so you can help an excellent charity while learning how to make life a little easier with your new bundle of fur.

Topics will include equipment, marker training, toilet training, crate training, chew training, mouth manners, socialisation and cue words. There will also be a questions and answers session at the end so you can get some advice on specific issues.

There’s no limit on how many people can watch the webinar per household so get as many members of the family to join in as possible – that way everyone knows the new rules to apply after the lesson.

To join the webinar all you have to do is make a minimum donation of €10 via the website here.

You will then be sent a Zoom link to join the webinar on October 21st.
