Bobo café is holding a cheese pairing workshop as part of its First Saturdays series on May 4th, 2019.

‘Accidental cheese nerd’ Molly Garvery will host proceedings on the day, delivering an hour-long tasting of a selection of Irish cheeses at the airy café underneath The Glucksman.

Molly has worked as a shepherd in the Pyrenees, cheesemongered in Dublin and Cork City and made the pilgrimage to the biannual Cheese Festival in Bra, Italy.

She encourages cheese fans to pay attention to the more underused senses, taste and smell, and is excited by small-scale food production, fermentation, past food traditions and myths, and unexpected food pairings.

This informative and tasty afternoon begins at 3pm and tickets are a bargain €5 (free for Glucksman members).
