Are you fully vaccinated? Here’s when you can expect to receive your Digital Covid Cert

You’ll need one if you’re planning on traveling this summer.
The first EU Digital COVID Certificates will be posted to people who have received both vaccinations this week.
Government sources have confirmed that 1.8m fully vaccinated people and patients who have recovered from coronavirus will receive their certificates by email or in the post within the coming days.
The EU Digital COVID Certificate is proof (in digital or paper format) that a person has either been vaccinated against COVID-19; received a negative test result; or recovered from COVID-19 in the last six months.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin said he hopes the European digital pass will be in operation by July 19th, 2021, despite increasing levels of Covid-19 infections across the country and worries over the Delta variant.
There are now over 50% of the adult population fully vaccinated, with 69% had their Dose 1. A total of 4.42M vaccines administered to date with 245,000 completed last week. We’re working hard to protect as many people as quickly as possible. @HSELive
