It’s more common than you might think.
One in 60 adults has some symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or ADHD, a condition that can cause problems socially and at work.
Now the organisers of a monthly Cork meet-up for men with the condition, which affects the parts of the brain that control attention, impulses, and concentration, are inviting new members to join them for some friendly support on Friday, March 24th, 2023.
“If you are a man and have ADHD (or suspected) we would love for you to join our monthly Walk and talk in Cork.” said a spokesperson for ADHD Ireland, an organisation that aims to make life better for people affected by ADHD.
“We will meet at 7pm at the Marina Market so that we can get a coffee and take in the sights and sounds before walking down to the Marina Park.”
The Marina Market is on Cork’s Centre Park Road (T12 YX76) and you can reserve a spot and find out more about ADHD Ireland here.
