An ANTI-Valentine’s Day deal to warm your cold, dead heart

We know, we know; Valentine’s Day is a Hallmark holiday and you loathe everything it stands for.
Still, isn’t there a little part of you that wouldn’t mind celebrating something in February?
Well, whether you’re single and don’t like to be reminded or loved up but far too cynical to mark the festival of romance alone with your significant other, this year there’s an alternative.
The Imperial Hotel is taking bookings for an Anti-Valentine’s Dinner that’s strictly for parties of four people or more.
Running from February 9th until the 18th (€55pp), the fun begins with a tasting flight of Taittinger Champagne; ideal for loosening up those lips for spilling tales of disastrous dates gone by.
The three glasses come complete with tasting notes underneath to inform you of the flavours to look out for as you quaff a Brut Reserve NV, Brut Prestige Rosé NV and the Nocturne Sec NV.
Next it’s off to The Pembroke restaurant for a three-course dinner before you settle down in Seventy Six on the Mall for a cocktail.
Whether you hit the town in search of other singletons or not afterwards is entirely up to you.
