Another teeny tiny library just popped up in Blarney

Every village should have one.
Ever since teeny tiny libraries started popping up all over Cork during the lockdown, we’ve been hoping to see one appear in our neighbourhood.
Now the people of Blarney are the latest lucky locals to be treated to a novel book depository – the Waterloo Book Bank is now open, making excellent use of an old traditional post box.
Visitors are invited to browse the selection of donated books and choose one to take away – all you have to do is replace it with a book someone else might enjoy.
Other pop-up libraries can be found at the parklet on Kent Street in Clonakilty, on Stephen’s Street in Cork City and Ballincollig’s Regional Park.
Castlemartyr’s Free Little Library, created by Castlemartyr Family Carers and Disability Group, is another miniature library where locals can drop off whatever books they are finished reading and choose a new title to take home.
