An August workshop offers support and a plan for Cork parents of picky eaters

Looking to raise healthy eaters?
Local expert Orlaith Murphy is hosting a nutrition education workshop designed to equip parents with the tools they need to foster a love for nutritious food in their children.
Taking place on Saturday, August 24th (11am to 1pm) at The Bookshop on Sullivan’s Quay, Murphy’s workshop will leverage scientific research to provide practical guidance on creating balanced meals (think a revamped food pyramid!), tackling picky eaters with effective tips and tricks, and incorporating fun family activities into mealtimes and grocery shopping.
“I’m passionate about ensuring parents have the knowledge to nourish their children for optimal health and development,” says Murphy, who holds a BSc in Nutritional Science. This workshop goes beyond ‘eat your vegetables’ and dives into building healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
The workshop promises to be a valuable resource for parents, with a chance to ask questions and gain confidence in navigating your children’s nutritional needs.
Limited spots are available (€15 per ticket) by emailing orlaithjune13@gmail.com.
